Alan H. Lee, MDSports Medicine & Arthroscopic Procedures
Alan H. Lee, M.D. is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, with additional fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy. Dr. Lee received his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. He received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Toledo, and went on to complete his surgical internship at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.
Dr. Lee then completed his Orthopaedic surgery residency at the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, where he served as a team physician for the Boston Public Schools as well as assisted in the care of numerous professional athletes from the Patriots, Red Sox, and Bruins. He went on to complete his Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy fellowship at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA, and was one of the team physicians for the Stanford Football team and the PDL affiliate of the San Jose Earthquakes, the Burlingame Dragons.
His clinical interests include sports-related injuries, knee arthroscopy, shoulder arthroscopy, hip arthroscopy, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, total shoulder replacement, and trauma/fracture care.
Dr. Lee is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. His personal interests include hiking and outdoor sports, tennis, football, playing the guitar and piano, and cars. He is conversationally fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
